Wastes Conference aims at bringing together academia and industry experts from the Waste Management and Recycling sectors, from around the world, offering state of the art knowledge and sharing experiences with all in attendance.
Authors are invited to submit Abstracts and Full papers through the Easy Chair web platform. All Full papers accepted will be included in a book published by Springer, that will be proposed to Scopus and Web of Science – ISI for indexing.
I was thoroughly pleased to witness the conference’s dedication to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The convergence of researchers from various countries to address waste challenges emphasized the global urgency and collective responsibility. The caliber of scientific presentations at the congress was remarkable, and the evident enthusiasm of young researchers was truly inspiring, showcasing a commitment to sustainable solutions. Observing such a diverse and passionate community united in advancing waste management practices was profoundly heartening, signaling a collaborative effort toward planetary betterment.
The development of innovative solutions to the waste challenge requires an urgent synergy among the various actors from the academic, social, political, and industrial sectors. The WASTES Conference has been (and continues to be) an initiative of extreme relevance to promote interaction among individuals from different parts of the globe, strengthen cooperation, and enhance the search for answers to complex issues.
In-person registration fees (net prices) include: presentation and publication of up to 2 papers, book of of proceedings, coffee-breaks, lunches, Welcome reception, Conference dinner and a sightseeing tour of Guimarães’s Historic Centre.
Participants may present more than two papers. In this case a fee of 100€ per additional paper will be charged.
